Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have accumulated approximately 1 year of teaching experience – this includes teaching art in a private studio (Internship at Little Artists) and a primary school (Workshop Facilitation with SALTTWORKSHOP), as well as peer-to-peer mentoring for academic writing in my university, LASALLE College of the Arts. Although I may not have prolonged teaching experience, my accumulated experiences have equipped me with versatility in whichever teaching setting I am placed in. It has also allowed me to fill in the gaps when I am placed in a specific class setting, as I seek to tailor my interactions and approaches based on the needs of my students. My experience as an exhibition docent gives me the necessary skills to communicate, interact with and to educate people of all ages.
