Tutor’s Teaching Background

Having 7 years of experience in school setting after leaving the service in December 2018, I am familiar with curriculum and expectations of the education system. My diploma in special education has allowed me to work with all types of students including those with learning or/and behavioural needs (on spectrum, ADD, ADHD, dyslexia) whom I had the pleasure to help them reach their maximum potential. I am patient but firm. I am able to adapt my teaching style to suit the child’s way of learning. During my years in school setting, I have taught both upper and lower primary. I believe in working together with parents to ensure better learning experience for the child. Last year, I had 3 students who sat for PSLE. They scored 235, 237 and 241, all As for the 3 subjects I taught them (English, Math and Science). My P5 student scored (83/77/87.5 for EMS) who is from SCGS while my P4 student scored (85/94/86 for EMS) who is from Yangzheng Primary School for their EOY.
