Currently teaching at Franstars Learning Cafe, started from January 2025. (S1 G1-G3 English, P1-P4 Math and English) My approach to teaching is to ensure that my students come out of a lesson understanding fully what they have learned. Not only do they learn new concepts each lesson, they must practice said concepts. I ensure that information taught will be retained by providing students with ample practice questions, further strengthening their foundations. A mixture of exercises for specific topics and practice papers from top schools can ensure my students’ success. I usually focus more on students’ weak areas or areas for improvement in order to achieve a more well rounded learning and understanding of the subject. Students are also encouraged to bring their schoolwork so that I will be better equipped to match the standards of their school. I believe that parents also play an integral role in their children’s learning. Hence, I work closely with parents by providing them with feedback after every lesson so that they are aware of certain weaknesses in their child’s education. I also listen closely to parents’ concerns and requests, as I believe it can be a useful resource for myself.
